Our Mission

Middleton Robotics has won multiple world championship and has always kept robotics in the US at a very high level

COVID-19

Like many organizations, Middleton Robotics has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic has presented unique challenges for our team, including disruptions to our schedule and changes to our competition plans. Due to health and safety concerns, many of our in-person meetings and events had to be canceled or moved online, which made it difficult to work together and stay motivated.

The pandemic has also impacted our ability to access resources and materials necessary for building and programming our robots. With many businesses and suppliers experiencing shutdowns or supply chain disruptions, obtaining necessary components has become more difficult and time-consuming. As a result, our team has had to adapt and find creative solutions to complete our projects and continue making progress.

Despite these challenges, we have remained committed to our goals and continued working hard to achieve success in the FIRST Robotics Competition, First Tech Challenge and the VEX Robotics Challenge. We have found new ways to communicate and collaborate remotely, using video conferencing and other online tools to stay connected and work together. Additionally, we have prioritized the health and safety of our team members, taking precautions to reduce the risk of exposure to the virus.

Overall, the COVID-19 pandemic has certainly slowed down our progress and presented significant challenges for our team. However, we remain resilient and determined to overcome these obstacles and continue pursuing our passions. We are grateful for the support of our community and look forward to a future where we can safely return to in-person events and competitions.

Middleton Robotics is led by a team of dedicated and passionate individuals who are committed to the success of our organization. Our leadership team is comprised of students who are selected through a rigorous application and interview process, and who demonstrate exceptional skills in areas such as project management, communication, and teamwork.

At the helm of our team is our head coach, who provides guidance and mentorship to our student leaders. The head coach is a respected member of our local robotics community and has extensive experience in coaching and mentoring teams for the FIRST Robotics Competition.

Assisting the head coach is a team of student leaders who are responsible for various aspects of our organization. Our team captains oversee the development and construction of our robots, ensuring that we are meeting our goals and deadlines. Our business team leaders manage our fundraising efforts, handle community outreach, and promote our team's achievements and progress. And our programming team leaders work on coding and programming our robots, ensuring that they operate efficiently and effectively.

Each of our leaders brings a unique set of skills and perspectives to the table, which allows us to work collaboratively and effectively as a team. They are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our organization, managing our resources and personnel, and ensuring that we are meeting our goals and objectives.

Overall, our leadership team is a crucial component of our success as a robotics team. Their hard work and dedication are instrumental in driving our progress and achieving our goals, and we are grateful for their service to our organization.
